His compositions, in pursuance of the boundary between order and chaos, transform and distort core musical ideas in a structured manner. Barry's music has been performed in the U.S., Argentina, Columbia, and Thailand. In addition to writing music, he is a conductor, tubist, and member of the Cornell Glee Club. Barry has studied composition with Roberto Sierra, Kevin Ernste, David Gompper, Mike D'Amborsio, and Brian Ciach.
