Sixth Annual New York Young Men Singing Posted: Friday, September 12th, 2008 |
The Cornell University Glee Club and Ithaca College School of Music are pleased to announce the sixth annual New York Young Men Singing. This year's all-day workshop will be Saturday, November 22, 2008 on the Ithaca College campus, culminating in a free public concert at 3:30 p.m. This year's guest clinician this year will be Patrick Gardner.

| The Chorus and Glee Club will again be holding an alumni concert during the upcoming Reunion Weekend (June 5-8, 2008). The event will be open to all alumni of both groups regardless of class year, and will entail a Thursday evening rehearsal, Friday rehearsals and a Friday evening performance in Bailey Hall. The concert will include both separate and combined pieces and will again be held under the direction of Professor Scott Tucker. Choral Ensemble Auditions & Sign-Up Posted: Wednesday, January 16th, 2008 |
Interested in joining one of the premier choral ensembles at Cornell? The Cornell University Glee Club, Chorus, Chorale, and Chamber Singers hold joint first-round auditions at the beginning of each academic semester.
Registered first-round auditions will be held on Friday January 25th. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL THURSDAY AUDITIONS ARE MOVED TO FRIDAY. Audition time slots are 4 - 7 PM. Walk-in first-round auditions are welcome, but registration is highly recommended.

We seek to collaborate with musical organizations and universities in concerts and workshops and hope to strengthen Cornell University’s traditionally strong ties with East Asia. Endowments to Receive Bequest Posted: Sunday, June 3rd, 2007 |
This semester, the Chorus and Glee Club were honored by an announcement that Stephen Gottesman '64 had made an extremely generous bequest to be evenly divided between the endowments of the two organizations. Steve has been passionately involved in music all his life, from his involvement with the Glee Club under Tom Sokol to his time with The New Christy Minstrels. He has never forgotten his fond memories of his time on the Hill, and has recently returned to Cornell to audit classes at the Law School.
